Liferay Themes and Portlets Development Services - Rural Management Application

Liferay has become a most sought after frameworks, helping in content management and customization according to customer preferences. One of the projects that came our way belonged to a client from South American destination, Uruguay. The design and development was a bit of a challenge initially, however, our Liferay developers were able to fulfill the client requirements within time and budget.

The client desired to have the application work with convenience to achieve proper management of different rural associations. The application was designed to help user manage number of rural associations and its activities. These associations were created according to the choice of province and its respective country. It also helped application management experts create their own customised association homepage.

One of the Liferay features integrated in the application is News Gallery whereby news and events can be published, association activities can be viewed and members can be notified through email on any update. The admin panel can manage various rural associations, users, events, activities and comments on the portal.  At the same time, report generation facility was accommodated whereby reports related to association comments, activities, followers, and consolidated comments are generated with ease. Social media – Facebook API was integrated for displaying Facebook comments.
